Welcome to the Pittsburgh Science Workshop. We believe science enrichment should be free, joyful, meaningful, and easily accessible for everyone!
Our mission is to empower young people from underserved communities to grow academically, and expand their confidence, through hands-on science and creative ingenuity.
We believe that through experiments, tinkering, and building, children can develop a genuine interest in learning and a positive relationship with the world around them. You can learn more about the vital impact Community Science Workshops are providing in the lives of youth in this NPR article.
